Manufacturing company website: catalogue, specs, quotes

A factory site fails when it looks like a company brochure for a business that still quotes from PDFs. The useful surface names the line, shows a finish or dimension, and sends a complete request. Wholesale Cabinet Creations is the nearest public example in the METEK portfolio.

01

Write the first screen for the buyer

Dealers and contractors confirm that a line exists, that a constraint is published, and that a date can be discussed. Company history can sit lower. Certifications belong next to the product they apply to.

If those three facts take four clicks and a generic contact box, they email someone who already listed them.

02

One family, one URL

Kitchen cabinets wholesale and custom closet systems cannot share one thin homepage. Each family needs a subject, a title, an H1, and links from related pages.

Do not invent a cart if orders still go through a human. A catalogue plus a request form is the honest product. Ecommerce is a different scope when prices and stock are real.

03

Fields sales will open

Name, email, and message produce junk. Ask for project type, quantity or rooms, ship-to region, timing, and files if drawings exist. Pass the record to whoever already owns the inbox or CRM.

The companion article on B2B quote requests lists the fields we put on manufacturing forms. Read it before you copy a consumer 'get in touch' block.

04

Who updates the catalogue after launch

If lead times and finishes change, the same delivery should include an admin panel with those fields. A pretty catalogue nobody can edit is stale in a season.

Start with families, buyer type, languages, and whether this replaces a live URL. The manufacturing industry page is the service brief if you are ready to scope.

Share the business problem, intended users, and required function. We will identify the deliverables the scope needs.
